Felony crime continues to plummet in the 70th Precinct, according to the latest police figures.
Six of the seven major crime categories are registering double-digit decreases led by murder, which has fallen from 11 at this time in 2006 to seven this year, or a 36 percent drop.

What constitutes felony assault, the only category to increase from last year? Does it necessarily involve a firearm?
